My friend left the party to be home on time
Never knowing her friends were being left behind.
She thought she could make it, little did we know
That later we would get a phone call saying it was her time to go
Insted of her own car pulling in the drive
It was the cops car, and her mom started to cry.
Her car came around the curve , went to the left and the right
Her life is now gone, but her soul is still in sight.
she had some beer, and shots to drink
She got behind the wheel and didnt really think.
She thought she could make it, and she would be fine
No all of us are left her wondering why?
Why wasnt she warned that it was her time to go?
Why were we unable to know?
I hated turning the TV on to see her face
They made her sound like she was such a disgrace
I hated turning the radio on to here them talk s***
They just love to talk about these teens, with nothing but DISS
It has been a year now since she is gone,
but the memory of her is still living strong.
she died of a mistake because she decided to drink and drive
But she is still with us; Shes the sparkling star in the night sky |
